The Climate Forward Summit (CFS) is IMPLEMENTERS' flagship climate convening platform focused on bringing together stakeholders across sectors to drive collaborative and actionable climate solutions.
CFS was created in response to a growing need for more coordinated climate action in Ghana and across the region. While many institutions and organisations are making important contributions towards climate action, these efforts are often fragmented. CFS seeks to bridge that gap by creating a shared platform for dialogue, collaboration, partnership building, and practical action.
CFS 2025
“Foundations of Climate Action: Aligning Vision, Sector, and Strategy”
The inaugural edition brought together key stakeholders from the extractives and agriculture sectors to align efforts around clean energy and sustainable agriculture. The summit emphasized the need for coordinated and strategic climate governance involving government bodies, private sector entities, civil society, indigenous communities, and individuals.

“The Circular Transition: Integrating Waste-to-Wealth Pathways and Clean Energy for Ghana's Green Industrialization”
CFS 2026 shifts the focus toward how Ghana can transform its growing waste challenge into an opportunity for economic growth and sustainability. The 2026 edition will bring together leaders and stakeholders to explore practical solutions for managing plastic, textile, and electronic waste in Ghana and across West Africa.

The Climate Forward Summit (CFS) exists to create a strong and collaborative platform for climate dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and action across Ghana and the wider African region. The summit aims to:
- Foster collaboration between all stakeholders working within the climate and sustainability space.
- Break down silos and encourage coordinated action towards climate resilience.
- Promote innovative and practical climate solutions that can be implemented across sectors and communities.
- Provide a platform for policy dialogue and cross-sector engagement on climate-related issues affecting Ghana and Africa.
